This film shows one of the famous family BBQs held at Eungella Dam at the time when Betty and Charlie Christensen were living there. Doug and Val Davies were also living at the dam at that time.
Other family members lived on cattle stations in the surrounding district, so we often got together for BBQs and had a lot of fun.

Background
Charlie Christensen and Doug Davies were the two full-time staff at Eungella Dam. Doug was the manager while Charlie was the jack-of-all-trades worker.
We settled at Eungella around 1980 after we finished travelling around Australia. Housing was provided for the two families and we lived there for around 7 years. It was a great lifestyle in a beautiful location.
